It’s been a little while since I posted up more than just a couple of pictures so here is a fantastic….but not too ostentatious design by Craig Steely Architecture.

I love the simple theory used to create the structure and in turn form the spaces. To me the huge concrete beam reminds me of industrial parks and freeway overpasses…they have a feel of re-purposed industrial elements.  This simple but strong structure allows for very large expanses of uninterrupted floor space and expanses of glass.  Not a bad idea when you’re building on five acres of dense Ohia forest in Hawaii….enjoy
