Mid Sommer

It’s been a while since my last post, sorry about that, I’ve had a lot on my plate.  But that doesn’t mean that I haven’t still been snapping away here in Sweden and across some of Europe.

Mid Sommer was something that I was really looking forward to when coming over to Sweden and it didn’t disappoint. We were lucky enough to have it hosted on the island of Alno, just 15min drive up from Sundvsall.  Here we celebrated with everything traditional you can think of:  a great group of happy people….lots of great food…..lots of schnaps….lots of beer and of course the odd nudie run from the Sauna to the ocean in the midnight sun.  I’ve put a selection of pics up here which give a nice picture of the fun family atmosphere where everyone was making to most of the longest day of the year which was also literally the longest day of my life! …..yep the sun didn’t go down!
