friday the 13th……ride from hell

I couldn’t let a Friday the 13th slip by without a post and it’s my first bike post of other peoples work.  Affinity bikes, based in NYC produce awesome hand made bikes and frames for the track and the street.  Their Lo Pro frame with its distinctive dropped top tube has become a hipster mainstay.  Here we’re looking at their Kissena track frame, but a limited edition.  Affinity teamed up with Lamour Supreme & Mishka to produce 5 hand painted bikes that are actually for sale, as complete bikes or just frames. I’m not saying this would be your everyday ride, but it does look pretty dam crazy and one to stand out form the crowd if you lined up at the lights!  Another great thing about collaborations like this is that part of the money from the sale of these bikes goes to the Kissena Velo Fund  a non-profit project spearheaded by Affinity, currently working to bring a world class indoor 250 meter velodrome to NYC.  I’d love to hear what people think of this bike too as I could see it being a love/hate reaction.
