First day out in Umea

So after the massive Australia to Sweden journey and more than a few days sleeping pretending I was over my jet lag, I headed down into town all by myself.  There was about a day’s worth of fresh snow covering everything in a nice clean white blanket. These shots were taken before Easter and much of this snow has actually melted away now.  As a melbournian I did naturally gravitate to a nice cafe where I was pleasantly surprised with some vintage scando furniture and a decent coffee.  Think I’ll be there a few more times in the future and will probably get it’s own post soon.  The feathers and eggs in the tree is some sort of Swedish Easter thing, no explanation forthcoming at the moment….
